Police said it is alleged that between Jan. 17 and June 17 this year, Cortlandt Manor resident Anthony Cassone, 55, “left approximately 25 voicemails on the victim’s voicemail system that served no legitimate purpose and caused the victim annoyance and alarm.”

At the victim’s request, a criminal summons was obtained from the Yorktown Justice Court on June 28 for a charge of second-degree harassment.

Last week, Cassone pleaded guilty to the harassment charge and the order of protection was issued by Judge Gary Raniolo in Yorktown Justice Court.

According to theexaminernews.com, Cassone has alleged that the school district has been protecting Walter Panas High School teacher Ryan Dobson, who he alleges engaged in inappropriate conduct with female students.

Cassone has also reportedly protested outside of the Lakeland administration building and has been a fixture at Board of Education meetings for nearly a year.

Cassone is due back in Cortlandt Town Court on Sept. 6 to continue his ongoing battle.
